On Thursday 27th July, we were privileged to be able to host, for the fifth year running, Starlight’s Summer Party here at Belmont Children’s Farm. This party gave 172 seriously ill children and their families the chance to escape hospital and their treatment and enjoy a magical day out in the countryside in London.
We are open every day over summer from 9am - 6pm and will be having many fun daily farm activities which you can be apart of! Summer is a wonderful time here at Belmont Farm and we are looking forward to seeing a lot more of you over the coming weeks! Come and enjoy the sunshine here with us and the animals, you can also visit the Waffle Cafe and enjoy a tasty Breakfast or Lunch!

Steve is the newest resident at Belmont Farm! He is 3 years young and already weighs 15kgs! He will grow to be a giant, weighing over 90kgs! He will need up to 4 people to lift him, but luckily at the moment he is not too difficult to lift and has settled in wonderfully. He loves spending sunny days out in the paddock with our continental rabbits!
He will be enjoying the sunshine and would love to meet you all over summer as during the winter he will spend most of his time buried in his den, fast asleep!
In July we took Rocky the horse to Essex for a photo shoot with Hackett Clothing.
Yesterday at Belmont we did a sheep demonstration. The keepers demonstrated foot trimming, dagging and worming. It was a great opportunity for the public to get up close and personal with our sheep and learn all about the work that goes into looking after sheep.
Maple the cow is used to having a high profile having walked through the streets of Westminster to Number 10 Downing Street and can now add to her bucket list a visit to the London Sri Murgan temple to help them celebrate 12 years since it first opened in Ilford!

Easter has has finally arrived! After what seemed like a long winter, our staff are glad to finally get rid of their winter coats, and welcome all the new baby animals that are arriving at the farm over the next few months. Already here, are our 1 month old orphan lambs, which you can meet during our bottle feeding sessions at 11:30 and 14:30 every day!

On Thursday 24th November, the farm's little elves and reindeers bought their festive cheer to Mill Hill high street for the Christmas market where all of the fairy lights were turned on and the magic of Christmas was brought to life! Christmas cheer and smiles were also brought to the people of central London when Minnie and Snowflake ventured out to Mayfair and stood outside the well known prestigious food restaurant - 'Novikov' later in the week.
The Guardian came to Belmont Farm to hire some of our animals for a photo shoot. The animals had a fun day out to a professional photography studio in London where they spent the day enjoying the attention from the models and the camera. In September, we were invited to The Saturday Show on Channel 5! So, we called up Gida - our resident TV personality - and sent her off to London with some rabbits! If you missed it, check out the episode on 'Catch up My 5' !
Our two pet goats, Disney and Clio journeyed to central London upon invitation of the Channel 4 studios to take part in a Sunday brunch episode where the goats, supervised by our watchful staff, were introduced to some of the hosts.
